Jupiter
Jupiter is the largest planet in the solar system and is classified as a gas giant. It is primarily composed of hydrogen and helium and has a prominent atmosphere featuring a variety of storms, including the Great Red Spot, a massive storm larger than Earth. Jupiter has a strong magnetic field and is surrounded by a large number of moons, with 79 known moons as of 2023, including the four largest known as the Galilean moons: Io, Europa, Ganymede, and Callisto. Jupiter's immense size and gravitational pull have a significant influence on the solar system, affecting the orbits of other celestial bodies. It has a low density compared to terrestrial planets and lacks a solid surface. Jupiter's rapid rotation takes about 10 hours, leading to its noticeable oblate shape, and it has a complex system of rings, albeit faint compared to those of Saturn.
