New Horizons

New Horizons is a space probe launched by NASA in 2006, designed to study the dwarf planet Pluto and its moons, as well as other objects in the Kuiper Belt. It is known for its close encounter with Pluto in July 2015, during which it captured and transmitted detailed images and data about the planet's surface, atmosphere, and geology. Following its historic Pluto flyby, New Horizons continued its journey into the Kuiper Belt, conducting observations of additional celestial bodies. The mission has provided valuable insights into the formation and evolution of the outer solar system.
