Perseverance Rover

The Perseverance Rover is a robotic vehicle designed and built by NASA to explore the surface of Mars. Launched on July 30, 2020, it is part of the Mars 2020 mission. Its primary objectives include searching for signs of ancient microbial life, collecting rock and soil samples for potential return to Earth, and testing new technologies for future human exploration of Mars. The rover is equipped with advanced scientific instruments, cameras, and tools to analyze the Martian landscape, assess its geology, and gather data on atmospheric conditions. Perseverance also carries the Ingenuity helicopter, which aims to demonstrate powered flight in the Martian atmosphere.
